ディスクライビングとは

写真や絵を見て、その説明を人にしてあげるつもりで、なるべく早く英語で口に出して言う訓練法です。自分が思いついたことを、英語でどんどん口にしてみてください。絵から連想する作り話でも結構です。できるだけたくさん英文が出てくるようにする訓練です。その量と質があなたが今持っている英語の「引き出し」になります。

【ディスクライビング】の手順

■その絵を見て思いついた英文を口に出して言いましょう。（録音します）
■再生して文章を書き出します。
■ミスをチェックしましょう。（辞書などを使い確認します）
■別の絵を使って繰り返し練習します。（同じ絵は使いません）

初級レベル
It's a bright Sunday afternoon.

She is very beautiful, with long brown hair.
They went shopping at the big mall on Christmas bargain sales.

中級レベル
The couple dress in casual outfit.
Their honeymoon destination was Los Angeles.
He often accompany his wife on shopping.
There are many fashionable clothes at the mall near my house.
He stays fit by lifting weight once a week, so he has an athletic body.
I'm getting hungry. Let's go have a lunch. I'm just awfully hungry, too.
You buy too much, don't you? Don't worry the items in that shop are reasonable.

慣れてくるとこんな表現も浮かんできます
A man and his wife wear nice and comfortable shirts.
The couple dress up in a casual fashion with matching outfits.
The couple married three months ago. They are now living stunning happy life as husband and wife.
They booked an idyllic and perfect honeymoon destination to Los Angeles.
There wasn't anything she wants to buy. She was nothing but eager to go shopping with her husband. But she bought many shoes and clothes because they were really cheap.
